Liability for Content
As a service provider, the operator is responsible for its own content on these pages in accordance with general law. However, pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 of the DDG, the operator is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general legislation remain unaffected by this. Liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement of the law becomes known. Should any such violations become known, the relevant content will be removed immediately.
Liability for Links
The operator's website may contain links to external third-party websites over whose content the operator has no control. Therefore, the operator cannot accept any liability for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal content was not recognisable at the time of linking.
Permanent monitoring of the content of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. Should any violations of law become known, such links will be removed immediately.
Copyright
The content and works on these pages created by the operator are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialisation of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law shall require the prior written consent of the operator.
Downloads and copies of these pages are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this page was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party content is marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform the operator accordingly. Upon becoming aware of any such infringement, the operator will remove the relevant content immediately.
Hobby Project and Availability
obidience is an independent hobby project, developed and operated by a single individual in their spare time.
The service is provided with the greatest possible care, but without any guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Individual features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
Please back up important content regularly using the export function available in the app. No liability is assumed for the loss of data, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator's liability for damages is limited to intent and gross negligence. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability is limited in amount to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
This limitation does not apply to liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, from the assumption of a guarantee, from fraudulently concealed defects, or under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
